Burkhard Schuchmann
Investor & owner of Schuchmann Group
Burkhard Schuchmann served as an Vice Chairman of the board of Patentes Talgo SA, Madrid and as Chief Executive Officer of Alternative Rail Investment AG, Frankfurt. Mr. Schuchmann served as a Managing Director of One Equity Partners LLC. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Vossloh AG from 1986 to December 31, 2005. He started his career as an Executive Board Assistant at Munich-based Bayerische Elektrizitätswerke from 1969 to 1978. He served as Chief Financial Officer at Knuerr AG from 1978 to 1986. He served as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Demag Cranes AG from March 6, 2008 to September 23, 2011 and Member of the Supervisory Board from 2006 to 2008. In 2008 he invested in Georgia in Kakheti region and has established brand Schuchmann.

Nutsa Abramishvili has an international consultancy experience in business, tourism and agricultural fields. She was working at DELOITTE for USAID project as a Tourism Sector Manager. She has also several years working experience in public sector. She was head of strategic development and socio-economic department of Tbilisi Municipality, where she was managing local SME, local tourism projects and city strategic development programs.
She holds Master and Bachelor’s degrees in Public and Business Administration. She has also successfully completed leadership program in Harvard University and Financial Administration program in Central European University in Budapest. She has received many distinctions and degrees throughout her career, including Georgian highest presidential grand award

Dr. Giorgi Dakishvili
Chief Enologist of Schuchmann Wines Georgia
Giorgi Dakishvili – is one of the icon of Georgian winemaking industry as he is the 3rd generation of winemakers which is respected and trusteed not only in Georgia but also in the world. As a young boy he decided that fermenting grape juice would be topic of his life and so he followed his Fathers footsteps who taught him basics.
He has helped numerous wineries and winemakers by consulting them and teaching them how to make fine Georgian wines. Georgi Dakishvili also received a lot of international recognition as a winemaker and as a Judge of different international competitions.
Dr. Roland Burdiashvili
Winemaker at Schuchmann Wines Georgia
Dr. Roland Burdiashvili is a second-generation winemaker who grew up surrounded by the world of wine — his father was also a winemaker, and much of Roland’s childhood was spent in a large winery. This early exposure shaped his passion for viticulture and guided his career choice.
He studied Wine Business Administration and Winemaking in both Georgia and Germany, where he met Mr. Schuchmann. Inspired by their shared vision, he returned to Georgia to join the Schuchmann Wines project.
With over 20 years of experience in international business and winemaking, Dr. Burdiashvili brings extensive expertise to his work. In addition to his role at Schuchmann Wines, he serves as an Assistant Professor at Telavi State University, where he teaches courses in International Wine Business and Oenology.
