Mtsvane

Vinoterra/ Fermented in Qvevri

Kakhetian Dry White Wine

Alc. 13% | e. 0.75 L

Vinoterra’s Mtsvane is leading the way to a new renaissance of the Mtsvane Grape Varietal.

This extraordinary white wine goes through fermentation in a large clay jar buried in the ground, called Qvevri. Maceration with skins, seeds and stems is allowed for 6 months before racking.

Floral and delicate nose, slightly nutty with aromas of dried fruit, coriander, white pepper and green apple. Flavor of lemon tea, spices and a slight impression of tannin.

Buried clay jar with the skins for 5 months. With the lees. Malolactic fermentation. 1 year aging in the bottle.

Most traditional wines

Made with extended skin contact for both red and white. They are profound and serious, yet are fine and bright too and will be appreciated by all connoisseurs as well as those seeking the authentic Georgian style.
